Hopefully you read about our March Mom, Patience Salgado and her guerilla goodness. She’s someone who makes us want to do good more often and as I’m sure you noticed from our Valentine’s Day post, that’s what one of our aims is right now. We’re sure it’s because you’re just so busy that you haven’t sent us any anecdotes of pictures form last month’s kindness challenge, so we’ll give you a second chance with this month’s challenge. This month’s Kill It With Kindness Challenge comes to us straight from the goodness guru herself.
Please, please, please quick pics of your messages and post them on the TLM Facebook page or in the comments below. We would LOVE to get a social media tie back and participation connection with this – it’s important and we promise, it makes you and others feel good!
Here’s what Patience challenges us to do this month:
Every mom in America could use an encouraging word! Why not leave a note for a fellow mom to find?
Leave 10 encouraging messages on post-its in a public place…include the word HOPE in 5 of them, the rest are freebies! Have fun!
Message ideas:
You are a good, good mom! (for real)
Age three will end, eventually. Hang tough mama!
You look awesome! (even in yoga pants)
Hope is paving the way, I promise.
You can trust yourself, especially your heart and intuition.
Suggested places to leave them:
The diaper or baby food aisle at the grocery store
A children’s book or the train table at Barnes & Noble
The parenting section in the library
The a bathroom mirror or in the changing table
Inside a pocket of jeans at the mall or thrift store
HAVE FUN and let us know how it goes!!
