I have the worst chronic chapped lips in the world. As long as I can remember it’s been a problem, and living in the desert has only made matters worse. But about a month ago I stumbled upon the holy grail of chapped lip salvation: Dior LipGlow.
Ohmiword, people. Don’t ask me what it is or how it works. It’s one of those products that magically assumes the perfect color for its wearer, using its psychic powers or whatever. All I can tell you is that my lips have a nice natural looking glow (not a gloss or even like I have lip balm on), the stuff feels perfect (no smell, no tackiness, no heavy glop – just feels soothing and emollient), AND: I’ve experienced about 95% improvement in the chappies. Which basically makes me want to throw a parade.
I also got the Dior Rose Lip Balm, which is equally nice in texture and moisturization, although to be honest I could do without the taste of flowers.
I’ve been using a Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain pencil on top during the day, or my Nars Orgasm lip gloss when I want to be fancy.
Do you hear that sound like the heavens are singing? That’s just my happy lips.
